The Vacation and After School Centre (VASC) was established to assist employees who are parents and guardians of children.
The Vacation and After School Centre (VASC) was established to assist employees who are parents and guardians of children. VASC provides supervision for children between the ages of three (3) years to fourteen (14) years of age before and after school, during the school vacation period, and on occasions when the child’s place of education has unexpectedly ended for the day or instances when the child cannot attend school, except in cases of illness. This services offers the Ministry greater level of access to this employer group and the employee with constructive activity for their children.
