User Submissions

Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under AGLA’s Privacy Policy (available on our homepage and at the bottom of every https://www.agla.gov.tt/ web page), any material, information or other communication a user of the Site transmits or post to this Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary (taken together as “Communications“). Users are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Site any unlawful, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material that would violate any law.

Payments and Transaction Fees

AGLA provides users with an electronic payment service that allows for the online payment of transactions offered by various Departments within the Ministry. AGLA is only granted authorization to charge the user’s Card for the relevant transaction conducted. Should the customer select the convenience of delivery of any processed documentation to a designated address, this can be facilitated at a cost and the courier fees will be included in the total invoiced sum that is to be approved by the customer prior to completion of the transaction. AGLA and its contracted service providers shall maintain strict confidentiality in relation to any card information that is provided by a customer to facilitate an online transaction.

A transaction fee (“Convenience Fee”) is charged for each transaction conducted using our online payment Service. The Convenience Fee is calculated at 0.8% of the transaction total + $2.75 Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD). The Convenience Fee is subject to change in the event that the relevant Card Association changes its fees. The Convenience Fee will be disclosed to you prior to making an online payment and you will be given the option of not proceeding with the payment and transaction if you do not wish to pay the Convenience Fee. We will only process the transaction if you agree to pay the Convenience Fee.

It is to be noted that if you do not wish to pay the Convenience Fee, there are alternative methods to make payments such as the direct use of LINX, cash and cheques.

AGLA reserves the right to discontinue the Service at any time.
