The Vacation and After School Centre (VASC) was established to assist employees who are parents and guardians of children.
The Vacation and After School Centre (VASC) was established to assist employees who are parents and guardians of children. The VASC provides supervision for children between the ages of three (3) years to fourteen (14) years before and after school, during the school vacation period, and on occasions when the child’s place of education has unexpectedly ended for the day. This supervision also includes instances when the child cannot attend school, except in cases of illness. These services offer the Ministry a greater level of access to such employees whilst providing the employee’s children with supervised and constructive activities.
